On the 7th of February, Kate attended a service and reception for the anniversary of the RAF Air Cadets. Kate attended the service at St. Clement Danes Church in the Strand, London. There was also a message from Kate in the programme. Many will remember Kate took over this patronage from Prince Philip(who had this patronage for over 63 years) back in December after the annual Christmas Lunch. This patronage seems to be a special one to Kate, seeing her husband and grandfather were in the RAF. The Air Cadets were launched during World War II to prepare young Brits to join the RAF. She then attended the reception at the Royal Courts of Justice.
