On the 22 of November 2016, Kate attended the Place 2 Be awards at Mansion House. Which is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London. The awards celebrate inspiring young people and their positive mental health stories in schools. Place2Be has been one of Kate’s patronages since 2013. During the night Kate met with young people and heard their stories. During the awards ceremony, Kate heard from the choir singing So Strong and she gave her speech. After this, She presented the Young Person Champion Award to Kaii Bailey from ARK Walworth Academy in Hackney.

Kate bowered the Queens Diamond Pendant Earrings. It is not known where the Queen got these from but they do look very similar to ones Queen Mary owned.
