On the 18th of March 20, Kate and William started their day in Les Invalides. Here they met with veterans and heard about the history. After this they met with Sgt Philippe, who is an Invictus competitor and had been supported the prosthetics team at the hospital. Last they met with two surviorss of the Bataclan Theatre shooting in Paris and the lorry attack in Nice on Bastille Day . Both has been supported by the hospital. They travelled to the Musée d’Orsay, Here they were given a tour of the Impressionists Gallery and heard about stories from the curator. Then on to the Trocadéro gardens which overlook the Eiffel Tower. Durin the visit, Kate and William played rugby.

After this, Kate and William returned back to the Ambassadors residence, where after a change of clothes for Kate, they said their goodbyes to the Ambassador and his wife. They then headed off to the Stade de France, where they watch the second last six nations game of 2017. William who is the vice-patron of the welsh rugby team, which he took on in December 2016 when the Queen handed in to him. At this game, The couple watched the defeat of Wales to France. After this they returned home, to an airbase near Anmer Hall.
