On the 11th of May, Kate visited Luxembourg for a day on engagement. Throughout her day, Kate was accompanied by Princess Stephanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. Kate and Princess Stephanie, were given posy’s by Six-year old twins Gabriel and Charles, when they started Kate’s visit at Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art (MUDAM), where Princess Stephanie is patron of. They toured exhibitions by British artists Sir Tony Cragg & Darren Almond and heard about works of art there. The next stop was to a cycling themed festival. Here Kate unveiled murals of British and Luxembourg Tour de France legends. Kate then called upon members of he Grand Ducal Family at the Grand Ducal Palace. After this, Kate attended one of her main engagements for being in Luxembourg, A commemoration for the 1867 treaty of London at the Luxembourg City Museum. The countries who signed this treaty were Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Russia, who also had representatives there. Then they moved to Dräi Eechelen Museum where they toured the 1867 Commemoration Exhibition.
